Takaihito (堯人, Takaihito?) is a character in the My Happy Marriage series. He is the second son of the Emperor and successor to the throne.
Appearance[]
Takaihito is a young man, around the age of Kiyoka.[1] He is uncannily beautiful and is neither large nor small in stature.[2]
He has a snow-white skin, bright red lips and almond-shaped eyes,[1] styled with red eyeshadow. His hair is jet black that reaches to shoulder length.[3]
The man's figure is so otherworldly that some might take him for a boy or even a girl. At the same time, he possesses an intimidating aura that naturally made others put up their guard.[1]
His overpowering presence captivates everyone who encounters him and inspires such an awe that gives the impression he might not have been of this world at all, no matter how many times they lay their eyes on him.[2][4]
He often wears a dark blue ceremonial court dress that is tailored from the highest-quality silk[4] and is unadorned.[2]
Personality[]
During his introduction, Takaihito appears to be a calm, composed, and cordial individual.
As shown in his interaction with Kazushi, even as the latter explained about Tatsuishi family‘s involvement of kidnapping Miyo for their own personal gain out of greed, he is seen as understanding and forgiving.
Even at the point of knowing the Grotesqueries would invade the Imperial capital, due to the seal that has already been broken at the grave site, Takaihito remains levelheaded for the most part.
His levelheaded demeanor is also seen when he was able to inform Kiyoka Kudou, Masashi Ookaito and Kazushi Tatsuishi if anything else were to occur.
History[]
Takaihito is born as the second son of the Emperor. Since he was young, he has shared a close relationship with Kiyoka, as they are of similar age and Kiyoka was the first of the Kudou family to manifest a gift in their generation.
Takaihito is already married. His wife is the precious daughter of an orthodox aristocratic family. The two met on a blind date and eventually got married under the arrangement of the country and the royal family.[5]
