Prologue (序章, Joshuu?) is the prologue of Volume 6 of the sixth My Happy Marriage novel.
Summary[]
Following his arrest, Kiyoka hasn't been interrogated or given any legal proceedings. He's been subjected to some physical pain before being locked away in the deepest part of a pitch-black and foul-smelling dungeon of the Imperial Army headquarters prison complex. To stay sane, he holds onto memories of his ordinary life with Miyo, which provide him solace. Despite his yearning to reunite with her, he's aware of the risk of losing his sanity in such conditions. Determined not to waste his time away, he draws a sign using his chained hands and activates a technique he'd prepared outside in advance. Although his Gift is sealed, he can still trigger a pre-set technique. He knows Miyo would take action rather than wait at home obediently, even though he asked her to.
