Epilogue (終章, Shuushou?) is the epilogue of Volume 5 of the My Happy Marriage novel.
Summary[]
Two days after Kiyoka Kudou's arrest, Miyo, Hazuki, and Yurie leave the Imperial Palace and temporarily stay at the Kudou main estate. Takaihito opposed this idea because of the ongoing danger, but Miyo already lost her trust in palace members after it is revealed that the unwillingness of palace guards to serve as her bodyguard was orchestrated by the Minister of the Imperial Household, who was dissatisfied with Takaihito's hardline attitude. The Minister later apologized to Miyo and her companions. Miyo feels she can't rely on others anymore, as they are all busy with their own problems. Takaihito's life is now in bigger danger without Kiyoka, Kazushi and the unit are under surveillance by Usui's subordinates, and Ookaito remains unreachable. Despite understanding the risks and knowing full well it is a trap set by Usui, Miyo decides to enter the enemy camp by herself. On the fourth day, she secretly sets off without informing Hazuki or Yurie.
