Light in the Darkness (暗闇の中の光?) is the fourth chapter of Volume 2 of the My Happy Marriage series.
Summary[]
Arata and Miyo drive to Kiyoka's house. There, they find Godou and Kazushi fighting in the living room over the latter's inability to heal Kiyoka. Hazuki and Yurie are in Kiyoka's room, watching over the unconscious Kiyoka. Arata, upon seeing him, states that Kiyoka was engulfed in the intense grudge of a spirit and that there is a way to help him with the power of Dream-Sight. Miyo, despite her reservations, agrees to do it and lies down next to Kiyoka.
Arata teaches her to use her Gift to locate Kiyoka's soul. Miyo succeeds and finds Kiyoka fighting alone against the spirits in a dark world created by the spirits' grudges. She uses her powers to get rid of the dream spirits. On the way back to the real world, Miyo and Kiyoka apologize to each other for their behavior. Miyo asks Kiyoka if she can stay by his side forever, but Kiyoka counters by asking her if she will still be with him even though she now has the Usubas. Miyo says she will.
Kiyoka and Miyo wake up together. Miyo cries in relief, and Kiyoka embraces her. Before Arata leaves, Miyo thanks him, and Kiyoka tells him that he won't lose in their rematch next time.
