Epilogue (終章, Shuushou?) is the epilogue of Volume 1 of the My Happy Marriage novel.
Summary[]
Miyo and Kiyoka's engagement becomes official. As Kiyoka is the head of the Kudou family, he doesn't need his parents' approval to marry Miyo, but they still have to visit his parents at least once before the wedding. Miyo learns that it was Kiyoka's father who arranged the propositions for him. She worries that his father won't approve of her due to expecting Kaya as the prospective bride instead of her, but Kiyoka assures her that he won't let anyone get between the two of them.
Kiyoka also tells Miyo about his first visit to the Saimori residence. Miyo thinks it was a necessary act in order for her to cut ties with her family for good. He tells her that as a soldier, he will have to take part in difficult battles and that he has a boring personality, but he would still like to be by her side and formally asks her to marry him. Miyo asks him if he will accept her despite her shortcomings. When he says he will, she also agrees to marry him. The two return home together.
