These are the guidelines regarding the uploading and usage of images and videos on the My Happy Marriage Wiki. Any violations will result in a deletion of the uploaded file, and repeated violations will result in a ban.
Uploading[]
- Any image and video uploaded must be directly related to the My Happy Marriage series and wiki. All uploaded files must be used somewhere or they will be deleted.
- Be sure to add the proper categories to the file. Check other files for examples of appropriate categories if you're unsure.
- Images from the manga and screenshots from the anime should be categorized under the chapter/episode they came from.
- The file extensions .PNG, .GIF, and .JPG are the standard requirements for Wikia.
- GIFs should only be taken from the anime, and only used if there is no other way to describe the information.
- Only images and videos from or directly related to the novels, manga, anime, live-action film, and stage play will be allowed on the mainspace articles.
- Watermarked or low-quality images are not accepted unless there is no other alternative.
- Avoid adding duplicates. Check first to make sure if the file already exists on the wiki. If you're trying to replace a low-quality upload, then overwrite the existing file instead.
- Non-official artwork or fanart must not be use on articles and can only be used for user profiles. However, remember that this is a wiki, not an image-hosting site, so you are strongly discouraged from uploading multiple fanart. Consider using an image-hosting site like Flickr or Photobucket if you want to display multiple pieces of fanart on your profile.
- Add the appropriate licenses. Almost all the images used on the wiki will fall under Fair Use.
- Images from the manga shouldn't have any text in them.
Naming[]
- Names must describe what is going on in the image.
- Name should reflect the medium from which the image come from. For example, if it's a screenshot from Episode 5 of the anime, the screenshot should be titled "Episode 5 xxx.jpg", or if it's a screencap from the manga, the image should be titled something like "Manga chapter 5 xxx.jpg."
- No random string of letters, numbers, or symbols.
- Always put spaces between words.
Videos[]
- Videos should only be from official sources. Youtube is most favorable site to find uploads from official channels.
