Personality[]
Minoru is a greedy man willing to do whatever it takes to ensure his clan's prosperity. In an effort to strengthen his family, he turns a blind eye to an innocent girl being tormented and traumatized so that it'll be easy to take her away so that she’ll marry his heir.
When that doesn't work, he kidnaps her so that the Saimori family can brutally coerce her into leaving her fiancé, locks his son in his home when he tries to interfere and burns Saimori family's home in a last-ditch effort to keep Miyo for his family.
This causes his own downfall and his plot's exposure ruins "both" families all because of his selfish ego and pride.
History[]
It is unknown that he follow the orders of the Emperor. After the failure his kidnapping plan of Miyo, the Emperor has disregarded him and his family for their failures.
Minoru arrives at the Saimori estate, while Miyo overhears servants gossiping about his arrival. They believe he’s here to discuss a marriage offer. They speculate it’s for Kaya and not Miyo despite both girls being the age for marriage now. Minoru informs Kouji that he’ll be marrying Kaya.
He notes he requested Shinichi of marry Miyo to his eldest son, Kazushi Tatsuishi, in order for her to leave the Saimori house. Although Kouji isn’t thrilled to marry Kaya, Minoru says he must comply with his demands.
When he learns that Shinichi orders Miyo to live with the Kudou family and take away the powers, he confronts him about it since he asked him to let her marry his eldest son. Shinichi says he received an offer from the Kudou family and didn’t want to refuse them.
Minoru argues Miyo’s mother is from the Usuba family and she could bear children who inherit supernatural abilities despite not having any herself. He reminds Shinichi that her family’s powers are exceptional. Allowing the Kudou family to become stronger would put their positions in danger.
Shinichi says when Kiyoka realizes Miyo doesn’t have powers, he’ll likely want to get rid of her. He says Minoru can bring her into his family once that happens.
Shinichi admits the Saimori family won’t get involved with Miyo anymore since he abandoned her. He outright says he doesn’t care if she lives or dies. Minoru vows to bring Miyo into his family.
He sits in his office, furious that Miyo is doing well with Kiyoka. He ponders how to prevent Miyo from falling out of the Kudou family’s possession until deciding to involve Kaya to end Miyo's engagement with Kiyoka.
He informs Kaya that Miyo is doing exceptionally well with Kiyoka and shows her a photo of the two together. Seeing the photo, Kaya realizes that the man she saw leaving the Saimori estate the other day was Kiyoka and begins to feel jealous. When Minoru reveals that he had originally intended for Miyo to marry his eldest son, Kaya decides to go to Shinichi to make a request. Minoru inwardly thinks that Kaya's actions save him from unnecessary trouble.
Kouji visits Minoru's office and finds Kaya there. Kaya explains they are going to "exchange fiancés" with Miyo but Kouji insists that it won't happen, as Shinichi, the head of the Saimori family, has already disapproved of it.
Kaya devilishly points out that the situation changes if Miyo is the one who agrees to the arrangement. Kouji becomes concerned about his father's plans and asks him for clarification. Minoru assures Kouji that he will understand everything soon. Kouji learns about his father and Kaya's plans regarding Miyo and confronts him about. Kaya explains that they intend to have Miyo withdraw from her marriage arrangements with Kiyoka.
After she departs for the Saimori residence, Minoru tells Kouji that they must secure Miyo and do whatever it takes to ensure the prosperity of their lineage.
Realizing that his father had known about Miyo's abuse all these years and never helped her, Kouji becomes furious. His anger intensifies his Telekinesis, causing furniture in the room to fly towards his father.
Minoru tells him to stop his protest, but he refuses to listen to anything he has to say and attacks him so he won't hurt Miyo again.
However, Minoru easily stops the objects and overpowers Kouji. He restrains Kouji and instructs him to wait until everything is settled before leaving by car. Fortunately, Kazushi arrives and frees Kouji, encouraging him to save Miyo, and he warns Kiyoka about what happened to Miyo and requests his help in rescuing her.
Kiyoka and Kouji head to the Saimori residence to rescue Miyo. Kiyoka uses lightning to strike destroy the gate and demands Shinichi tell him where Miyo is.
Minoru tells Kiyoka that Miyo won’t be returning to his household any longer but he refuses to believe him, since Kouji told him everything he did.
Realizing Minoru won’t tell him where he’s hiding Miyo, Kiyoka plans to use force to get what he wants. Kiyoka fights Shinichi and Minoru. Despite their efforts, they are no match for Kiyoka and he attacks Minoru with his lighting.
Refusing to give up Miyo, he attempts to stop Kiyoka once again and attacks him with his pyrokinetic power, which causes the Saimori residence being set on fire but Kiyoka defeats him by striking at him again with his lightning attack, rendering him unconscious and stopping his rampage.
After the kidnapping of Miyo and the failure of Minoru's plans, the Saimoris lose their status, houses and wealth.
While the incident has not been revealed to the public, the Tatsuishis did not receive punishment and Kazushi replaces and forces him to Minoru as the family head. It is unknown what became of Minoru, Presumably he likely got sent to the villa like Kanoko and Shinichi did or he was arrested for his crimes against Miyo.
