Iwashimizu (岩清水, Iwashimizu?) is an informant of Kiyoka Kudou who helps him on certain investigations such as the Saimori family and the Usuba family.
History[]
Iwashimizu was hired by Kiyoka to investigate into the Saimori family along with Miyo’s background. Later, he showed Kiyoka the details of the investigation on the Saimoris and their abuse towards Miyo due to her lack of gift. Iwashimizu also revealed to Kiyoka about Miyo's connection with the Usuba family through her late mother Sumi Saimori.[1]
He was hired by Kiyoka once more to gather information on the elusive Usuba family. When Iwashimizu reports Kiyoka his findings based on rumors that mention the Usubas, Kiyoka requested the investigator to find information on Sumi Usuba.[2]
The following night, Iwashimizu met up with Kiyoka to discuss his reports and is told to keep scouring the world for information relating to Sumi Usuba. Afterwards, Iwashimizu made a phone call with Kiyoka, informing that he found one woman with no birth or family registration by the name "Sumi Tsuruki". This information would become vital to Kiyoka's investigation as he discovered that Sumi had the same surname as Arata Tsuruki.[3]
Trivia[]
- The informant who helped Kiyoka has not been given a name in the novel or manga. In the anime, he is named as Iwashimizu in the credits, but it has never been said on-screen.
