Imperial villa (御用邸, Goyōtei?) is an estate that serves as the Imperial family's vacation home.[1]
Description[]
The vacation home is located on the seaside of the Imperial Capital. The land area around it is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Imperial Household. The grounds are surrounded by a thick stone wall and a dense thicket of evergreens, making it impossible for an outside observer to glimpse what is going on inside. The gate is shut tight and there are guards guarding it.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Zushi Imperial Villa (逗子御用邸, Zushi Goyōtei?) is most likely the villa described in the story. It is accessible by going southward from the main road of the Imperial Capital in the direction of the sea.
