The Shape of My Happiness (わたしの幸せのかたち, Shiawase no Katachi?) is an OVA episode of the My Happy Marriage anime series, and is also listed as Episode 13 of the first season. It was bundled with the special edition of novel volume 8 and later streamed internationally on Netflix.
Synopsis[]
Miyo's chance to demonstrate what she has learned comes at her first social gathering with her fiancé. Kiyoka introduces her to a distinguished gentleman.[1]
Summary[]
Miyo Saimori attends the social party with Kiyoka Kudou. There, Hazuki Kudou introduces Miyo to her son Asahi Ookaito.
After Miyo converses with the party guests, Kiyoka brings her to meet Prince Takaihito. Takaihito explains the two about the incidents regarding to the Saimoris and the Usubas caused by his father, the Emperor. Takaihito reveals that the Dream-Sight can surpass the Imperial family's precognition ability. Because of that, the Emperor attempted to prevent it from happening by having Miyo's mother separated from the Usubas and married into the Saimoris. But when Miyo and Kiyoka's engagement became official and the seal on her abilities is broken, they both became a greater threat to the Emperor. Takaihito also reveals that the reason why his father was responsible for these certain incidents is because he has already lost his abilities, fearful over losing his imperial status and duties. Takaihito apologizes to Miyo for everything that happened to her, but she tells him she is happy to be with Kiyoka after meeting him.
After the conversation with Prince Takaihito, Miyo bumps into Asahi, who spills his beverage on her dress by accident. When Asahi confesses that he is jealous of Miyo because she spends too much time with his mother, Hazuki reassures him that she loves him but also tells him that Miyo is also important to her like a sister. Asahi then apologizes to Miyo for getting her dress dirty.
The next day, Arata Usuba comes to visit Kiyoka and Miyo to make a proposal of becoming Miyo's bodyguard. Soon after, Miyo watches Kiyoka leave for work as she hopes for their happiness.
